The brief
You make brilliant things. Somebody has to tell the world.
Makers do not want to be marketers. They want to finish the batch, photograph it once, and have the posting, hashtags, captions and listings handled. And they want to approve everything before it goes out under their name.
We built Social Jen as the tool we wanted for our own Etsy shop, then made it multi-tenant so other creators could use it.
- Live OAuth publishing to LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Threads, Facebook, Reddit and Bluesky, with an encrypted token vault, scheduler and token-health monitoring.
- One video to many platforms, validated against each network's aspect-ratio and duration rules before upload.
- Etsy integration: taxonomy matching, image upload, digital-file listings, variations, shipping profiles and in-place edits. Listing copy is graded before you publish it.
- 3D product studio: import an STL from Google Drive, repair and decimate the mesh, render turntables and 2000px stills in headless three.js, drop them straight into the listing.
- Fan-out to Cults3D, Thingiverse, Sketchfab and CGTrader, with ready-to-paste packs for the marketplaces that have no API.
- Voice notes transcribed with Whisper, an IP-risk guard that rewrites and re-screens copy naming protected brands, per-tenant quotas and a buyer download portal that verifies Etsy orders.
Under the bonnet
Dependency-light on purpose.
The server is Python standard library, no framework, on PostgreSQL in production. The front end is a vanilla JavaScript single-page app. Rendering runs in Node with Puppeteer and three.js, video through ffmpeg, files through Cloudflare R2.
Language and vision models are mixed by job: Groq for fast drafting and Whisper transcription, Claude and GPT for the careful bits, Meshy for image-to-3D. A GitHub watcher redeploys within a minute of a push and refuses to touch a dirty checkout.
