LMC Training platform
Frontline teams need training records they can prove, not a PDF that says someone clicked through. The LMC Training platform marks the knowledge checks on the server, issues certificates anyone can verify, and gives employers a dashboard of who has done what.

The brief
Training records an inspector would accept.
LMC Training works with recovery services, housing teams, volunteer programmes and small employers who need mandatory training done properly and evidenced. Off-the-shelf platforms were either generic corporate content or a compliance box-tick with the answers in the page source.
So we built our own, and wrote the courses for the sector: safeguarding adults and children, Prevent, volunteer induction for drug and alcohol services, trauma-informed boundaries, confidentiality and risk escalation, equality and diversity, fire safety, health and safety, GDPR.
- Slide-based learning player with knowledge checks marked on the server, so a certificate evidences understanding rather than clicking.
- PDF certificates with a long code and a human-readable LMC short code, a public verification page, revocation and the employer's name stamped on.
- Employer portal: organisations, cohorts, invites, bulk course assignment, per-learner progress, CSV reports and billing.
- Stripe commerce: individual courses, bundles and seat packs, with access gated on entitlement and idempotent webhooks.
- Authoring interface for non-developers plus a JSON blueprint import, and an AI-assisted course-writing workflow with a mandatory human review gate for accuracy and safeguarding sensitivity.
- Functional Skills module: adaptive diagnostics, learning plans, timed practice papers and a tutor view with drill-down, from Entry 1 to Level 2.
- Security audit and hardening: rate-limited login, relocatable admin, unique-email migration with a pre-flight that aborts the deploy if it would break anything.

Ten Django apps on PostgreSQL, ReportLab for certificates, Pillow for automatic WebP thumbnails, Tailwind for the front end, S3-compatible media storage and provider-neutral email. Apache and gunicorn behind Let's Encrypt, deployed by webhook from GitHub.
