1. The short version
- lmctech.co.uk uses a small number of cookies: one to remember your cookie choice, and Google Analytics to help us understand which pages people read.
- Our product sites use essential cookies only, or none at all.
- We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking, anywhere.
This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some last only for your visit ("session cookies"); others remain between visits ("persistent cookies"). They can be set by the site you are visiting ("first party") or by another service that site uses ("third party").

Google Analytics is provided by Google, which processes this data on its own infrastructure. See section 13 of our Privacy Policy for how international transfers are protected.
We also use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host on our own UK infrastructure. It sets no cookies, does not identify you, and does not track you across sites, which is why it does not appear in the table above or need your consent. It simply counts page views in aggregate.

Essential cookies are needed for a service to work at all, so they do not require consent under UK law. We still keep them to a minimum.
5. What we do not do
- No advertising or remarketing cookies
- No social media tracking pixels
- No selling or sharing of cookie data
- No combining cookie data with outside sources to build profiles of you
6. Your choices
The cookie banner. When you first visit lmctech.co.uk, the banner asks you to accept or decline analytics cookies. Nothing non-essential is set until you accept. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Choices link in the footer.
Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, for all sites or just ours. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of a service working, such as staying signed in.
Google Analytics specifically. Google provides an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we add or remove a cookie. Changes are posted on this page with an updated revision date. If we ever introduce a category of cookie that needs your consent, we will ask for it before setting it.
