The brief
Professional packs, without the late nights.
Small charities and freelance trainers deliver excellent sessions and hand out documents that look like they were made at midnight, because they were. The brief was a tool that produces the whole pack, consistently branded, editable in the browser, and honest about what still needs a human.
- Front cover, timed session plan, facilitator notes with discussion prompts, activity briefs, knowledge check with marking guidance, learner workbook, register, evaluation form, certificate, action plan, branded slides with speaker notes and a QA checklist.
- Server-side document generation with no headless browser: DOCX, PDF and PowerPoint from code.
- QA checklist that maps outcomes to content, flags crowded timings and raises a qualified-review flag on safeguarding, clinical, first aid, legal and financial topics.
- Three-tier Stripe billing with credit refunds on failed generation and an admin dashboard for export failures.
- Optional language-model enrichment with strict per-section validation; anything that fails keeps the deterministic template, and organisation policies are inserted verbatim.

Next.js 15, Drizzle and a lot of validation.
Next.js App Router in TypeScript, PostgreSQL via Drizzle with an embedded database for tests, Zod on every input, per-route rate limits, an audit log, security headers and ownership checks that return 404 rather than reveal existence. Docker on our VPS with a rollback-capable deploy timer.
